2021+ Bronco Acrylic Laser Series Tailgate Plate
The tailgate is a little plain. Our Jeep friends have had a plate here for a good while. Why shouldn't we?
We laser engrave and cut a 1/8" sheet of acrylic and polish it once it comes out of our machine. Then we apply two strips of 300LSE double sided tape to ensure it stays on your tailgate.
INSTALLATION
Ideal tape application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F (21°C to 38°C). Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory. The bond strength of 3M™ Adhesive 300LSE increases over time and temperature. At room temperature, 50% of the ultimate strength is achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours, and 100% after 72 hours.
Clean the application area to prepare it for installation. Make sure that they surface is dry before moving on. Remove the backing of the 3M and press firmly.
